Ok, so, gonna need a lot of context for this one!

Two weeks ago, I saw Puella Magi Madoka Magica: The Rebellion Story, the third Madoka Movie. It was incredible, I loved every moment of it, and it really sparked something that made the past few weeks of my life really great. It made me love Madoka all over again, and that in turn just put me in a good mood since Puella Magi Madoka Magica is one of my favorite things.

So good I ended up writing a drabble about the Puella Magi AU of Mathilde (Human Scarlet, remember that AU?  fav.me/d4xutde and fav.me/d50hmr7 ), to be specific, I wrote a "Bad End" in which the Human form of Mathilde's  Witch appeared before her and tempted her into falling into Despair. Sadly, it worked, and she became a witch.

But funnily enough, that idea in turn is based on a specific part of another Madoka Manga, The Different Story, where basically the same thing happens with Mami and the human form of her Witch (Candeloro), (Though there she doesn't fall for it). Something about that idea just really spoke volumes to me, the moment I heard about it, I just had to write something similar out. But it only took the Rebellion Story (And without giving out spoilers, a scene near the end really really pushed me to writing) to finally get around to writing it.

Anyway, I ended up liking the Drabble I wrote so much that I commissioned this art piece of it, I think it came out really nice!

Basically, the human form of Scharlachrot (The one in the cute dress, to the left) is being very touchy and trying to convince Mathilde (the right) to fall into despair (And talking about how wonderful being a Witch will be) with a projection of her ideal world (The room they're in), while Mathy is trying to get a hold of herself and not give up.

Phew, that was hard to explain, wasn't it? Sorry for the very very long descrption, hope you enjoy the picture, as much as I enjoyed commissioning and writing the companion story to it

Though, you can also see it as something else if you look at it, I think it's pretty cute and creepy looking so it could look like a lot of things!

Das Ende (Puella Magi Mathilde Bad End)Her name was Mathilde Ferdinand.
A girl no older than age fourteen…she lived happily in England, did well in school, never ruffed any feathers, and just enjoyed the sheer rush of life itself. To become a magical girl and bring joy to others, to save them from horrible creatures known as “Witches”… as well to bring happiness to herself.
The wish she made…to never grow up.
To never worry again about growing old…losing the strength, joy, and precious energy from being young. To not worry about losing your valued time and enjoy every moment of just being alive.
It was supposed to make her happy, right? To have time be her ally, to never have to waste anymore time on school, to spend most of her time worrying about anything…!
….So why?

Why was nothing going her way?
Why was the weight of the world crushing down on her, bringing all the joy she had gotten from
